CSIR UGC NET is an all-India level entrance examination conducted by the Council of Scientific & Industrial Research (CSIR). It gives the award degree of Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and the Assistant professor in the science to various university all over India. you must have M.Sc in various discipline and appointed as a lecturer in Physical science, Chemical science, Mathematical science, etc.
It is conducted twice in a year that is in June session and December session. The notification of both session has been released on the official site. The December session exam will be held on 15 December 2019 and the June session will be held on 15 to 20 June 2020. It is the simple paper multiple-choice question examination.

How to fill the Application Form
- Visit the official website of CSIR and click on “Apply Online”.
- A new page opens and click on “Registration Here” link for new candidates.
- Enter your email ID, mobile number, and password for registration and then click on the “submit” button for submission. Make sure the e-mail and mobile number are activated.
- your application ID will appear on the screen. Note the ID and password and click on the login button to continue the form filling process.
- Now provide the all personal details such as name, father’s name, D.O.B, Educational Qualification and other details and click on the Next button.
- After so, upload your recent photograph and signature and attach the required documents if necessary after completing the application form, you will see two options save and preview. click on the preview button for recheck you information either it is correct or not. Press on Edit button for any changes.
- After the confirmation click “Final Submit and Proceed for Fee Payment“ button. No changes will be allowed after the final submission of the application.
- After this, make the payment through net banking, credit/debit card and click on ok for payment. The will display the payment success. please don’t press the refresh button during the processing of payments.
- After the success of payment, click on download the form and download it in pdf format and save it.

Eligibility Criteria
- The candidate who has passed M.Sc. or equivalent degree/BS-4 years/integrated BS-MS/BE/B.Tech/BPharma/MBBS with minimum 55% marks (General and OBC) and 50% (SC/ST and PWD).
- The maximum age for JRF is 28yr as on 01-01-2019 for June 2020 examination.
- The maximum age for JRF is 28yr as on 01-07-2019 for Dec examination.
- The age relaxation is 5 years for SC/ST, disable and women candidates but 3 years for OBC.
- There are no upper age limits of LS(NET).
