NTA JEE MAIN 2019
Recently a new organization came into force for conducting examinations which is named NTA(National Testing Agency). NTA is approved by cabinet of India. It will conduct NTA JEE MAIN 2019. NTA has released the final dates of JEE Main (I & II). JEE Main I will be held in January 2019 and JEE Main II will be held in April 2019. NTA brought all the competitive examination testing under one central agency to improve the transparency & accuracy of all entrance examination. NTA will take all the major examination that were previously conducted by CBSE. All the information published recently by NTA about JEE is provided below. According to the Ministry of Human Resource and development (MHRD), JEE Main 2019 will be conducted twice by NTA. The examination will be Computer-based. NTA has provided more than 2100 free test practice centres across India which any student can practice and be familiar with the exam without paying any fee.

Why NTA is introduced? i.e. features of NTA
- As we know that CBSE has multiple responsibilities. It has to take Board examination (for 10th & 12th) and entrance exams like JEE MAIN, NTA NEET 2019 etc. Thus it has to cover a large number of students in less amount of time. To reduce this load cabinet has approved NTA for organizing all competitive entrance examination taken by CBSE including NTA JEE MAIN 2019.
- NTA is a part of Government Of India’s Digital India plan. It will decrease the effective cost of organizing examination by a larger amount. By online mode, it saved the cost of printing and logistics. It will create more transparency and correctness and will be a faster process from the previous one.
- The online application is going now.
- According to some sources, IIT’s is not showing much interest in this newly formed organization. They say NTA is whole new and it lacks in operational experience. There will be a meeting in coming days of all IIT’s official for NTA JEE MAIN 2019. They will decide whether to accept or reject the proposal of NTA. The cabinet has given time till 15 December.
What are the changes introduced by NTA in JEE MAIN 2019?
- NTA JEE MAIN 2019 will held twice a year (January & April).
- The examination will be completely online i.e. CBT (Computer Based Test).
- There will be 8 seating of examination.
- You can appear in both exams of NTA JEE MAIN 2019 as per your choice. Best of the two scores calculate the All India Rank(AIR).
- For applying online JEE Main 2019, this time aadhar card is not mandatory.
- You can use any govt. identity number for filling the online form.
- There is no need to verify your class 12 roll number.
- The centre for examination will be provided for candidates much earlier i.e on 21 October 2018.
- The candidates of NTA JEE MAIN 2019 will get free test practice at practice centres being opened at every place upto remote areas.
- The registration for the computer-based test at practice centres has started free of cost.
- Register and locate your nearest practice centres at www.ntapc.in.
- No change will be in the Exam Pattern, Eligibility Criteria, Syllabus, Question Format, Marking Scheme and Examination Fees.
- There will be no change in JEE ADVANCE 2019 scheme.

FOR APPLYING ONLINE NTA JEE MAIN 2019:
Online applications will commence from 1st September 2018 for the examination of NTA JEE Main 2019 (January).
Details of JEE MAIN registration for 2019:
- The online application registration process is available on the official website of NTA i.e. www.nta.ac.in as well as www.jeemain.nic.in.
- Candidate should provide the correct email address as well as mobile number so that all the communication related to the exam can be done. NTA will send the JEE Main related information to the registered email address and mobile number only.
- Aadhaar card will not be mandatory to Apply Online.
- You can use any government ID proof for applying online.
- Candidate must check that if they fulfil all the eligibility criteria for JEE Main 2019 before starting online application registration.

Candidates have to apply online for NTA JEE MAIN 2019 exam.
- JEE Main online apply 2019 will start from 1st September 2018 (For Jan exam).
- There will be 8 different dates of examination. You have to select a date which is suitable for you.
- There will be the choice of selecting 4 different cities where the candidate wants to appear for JEE Main exam. The first choice should be primary.
- Candidates have to upload the scanned images of passport size photograph and signature of candidate & mother’s/father’s/guardian.
- Photograph dimension should be 3.5 x 4.5 cm and dimension of the signature should be 3.5 x 1.5 cm.
- The images should be in JPG or JPEG
- Multiple applications from a single candidate is not acceptable.
- There is no provision to send the hard copy of the application.
Different steps for applying online NTA JEE Main 2019:
- Go to the official website www.nta.ac.in or www.jeemain.nic.in and fill the form. After submitting note the registration number (application number).
- Upload your recent photograph (10kb to 100kb) and signature (4kb – 30kb) in jpg/jpeg format.
- Pay the payment online also print the fee receipt.
NOTE: Candidate has to apply for NTA JEE Main 2019 in online mode only. Multiple application from a single candidate will be rejected. Don’t send any acknowledgement copy to NTA by post as it will not be accepted.
Candidates who are not able to apply the online form for NTA JEE Main 2019 can go to the common service centres. Common Service Centre (CSC) comes under the Digitial India Initiative of our honourable prime minister Sh. Narendra Modi.
APPLICATION FEE FOR NTA JEE MAIN 2019:
- You have to pay the fees online from 1st September 2018 to 1st October 2018 till midnight at 11:50 PM.
- The application fee will be different for different categories and modes of examination.

NTA JEE MAIN 2019 ONLINE APPLICATION CORRECTION:
- The online correction starts in the month of October 2018 end.
- Corrections is in every entry except change in the mode of exam mode from CBT (Computer-based test) to PBT(pen paper-based test).

- First, go to the official website of NTA www.nta.ac.in or JEE Main www.jeemain.nic.in.
- Go to the JEE Main admit card section.
- Log in using the application form credentials.
- Print the admit card.
- If you find any information which is incorrect in your admit card. Immediately contact the examination conducting authority by the mean of mail or call.
JEE MAIN 2019 ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:
Age Limit:
- The date of birth should fall on or after 1stOctober 1994.
- For SC/ST & PwD candidates, the DOB should fall on or after 1stOctober 1989.
Attempts Limit:
- Candidates can attempt for maximum three times for the JEE Mains exam.
- Attempts limit is same for all the categories.
- For JEE Advanced, candidates can appear for maximum two consecutive
Qualification Criteria:
Such candidates also have to appear for JEE Advanced exam.
Qualifying Exam | 10+2 or equivalent exam passed in 2017 and 2018 are eligible to apply. |

JEE Main 2019 Exam Pattern
The examination will comprise of two papers, i.e. paper 1 (for B.E/B.Tech) and paper 2 (for B.Arch/B.Planing).
The detailed NTA JEE MAIN 2019 for both papers is mentioned below:
- Exam Mode: The examination will organize in online (computer based) mode only.
- Type of Questions (Paper 1): The question paper will comprise of objective type
- Type of Questions (Paper 2): Mathematics and aptitude section will be of objective type questions and drawing test will be subjective.
- Duration: The total exam duration will be three hours.
- Medium: The question paper will be asked in English and Hindi language for all exam cities and English, Hindi and Gujarati languages for exam cities in Gujarat, Daman & Diu and Dadra & Nagar Haveli.
- Marking Scheme: Four marks will be provided for each correct answer.
- Negative Marking: One mark deduction for every incorrect answer.

NTA JEE Main 2019 counselling:
According to the notification released by the Union cabinet of India regarding JEE Main 2019. Only the examination process should be carried by NTA. After the examination, all the data will be handed over to the Centralised Seat Allocation Board (CASB)/Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA). For seat allocation within the state data will be handed to the state govt. institute.

Sets, relations and functions, Matrices and determinants, Mathematical induction, Sequences and series, Integral calculus, Binomial theorem and its simple applications, Vector algebra, Statistics and probability, Trigonometry, Complex numbers and quadratic equations, Mathematical reasoning, Permutations and combinations, etc.
Physics:
Physics and measurement, Thermodynamics, Rotational motion, Laws of motion, Electronic devices, Oscillations and waves, Current electricity, Electromagnetic induction and alternating currents, Optics, Electrostatics, Kinematics, Work, energy and power, Gravitation, Properties of solids and liquids, Kinetic theory of gases, etc.
Chemistry:
Physical Chemistry: Some basic concepts in chemistry, Atomic structure, Chemical Thermodynamics, Equilibrium, Chemical kinetics, States of matter, Chemical bonding and molecular structure, etc.
