Rescheduling the Dates for JEE(Main) – 2022 Session 1

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the application form for JEE Main 2022 available at jeemain.nta.nic.in. The JEE Main 2022 exam date and registration information have also been issued by the exam authority. On its official websites, jeemain.nta.nic.in and nta.ac.in, the announcement containing the JEE 2022 exam date has been released. Re-registration for NTA JEE Mains 2022 exam is starting on the 18th of April. The deadline to submit a JEE Main application form for the year 2022 is April 25 (up to 09:50 p.m.). Last Date for Payment of Application Fee Online Tuesday,25 April 2022 (up to 11:50 p.m.).

Date of Examination:

Session 1 (April 2022): 20, 21, 22, 23, 24, 25, 26, 27, 28, and 29 June 2022

Session 2 (May 2022): 21, 22, 23, 24, 25, 26, 27, 28, 29 and 30 July 2022

Release of the Admit Card for the Joint Entrance Examination (Main) – 2022 Session 1 (June 2022) – Reg.

The candidates are required to download their Admit Card of Joint Entrance Examination (Main) – 2022 for Session 1 (June 2022) (using their Application Number and Date of Birth) along with the undertaking from the website https://jeemain.nta.nic.in w.e.f. 21 June 2022 and go through the instructions contained therein as well as in the Information Bulletin.

The candidates are advised to carefully read the Subject-Specific Instructions and other instructions mentioned in the Question paper and abide by the same.

JEE Main 2022 Eligibility Criteria:

JEE Mains 2022 age limit There is no age limit for appearing for the exam
Qualifying Examination Candidates must have passed class 12 or equivalent exam in 2020 or 2021. Candidates appearing for the class 12 board examination in JEE Main 2022 exam will be also eligible.
Subjects to study in 10+2 or equivalent Candidates must have studied a minimum of 5 subjects which will be considered. They are Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry/ Biology/ Biotechnology/ Technical Vocational Subject, Language and any other subject.
12th percentage required for JEE Mains 2022 Candidates should secure a minimum of 75% in the 12th class exam for admission. For BArch admissions, the minimum mark is 50%.

For the last two years, the minimum 75% marks criteria have been relaxed on account of COVID-19. Candidates who qualified class 12 or equivalent were eligible.

Number of attempts All aspirants can appear two times a year. Students can appear for JEE Main for three years consecutively therefore the total attempts allowed for each student will be twelve in three years
