CBSE Board Exam 2024 form submission for private applicants will begin on September 12

CBSE Board Exam 2024 Form: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced the exam form submission dates for private applicants in classes 10th and 12th. According to the announcement, the CBSE board exam form 2024 can be filled up and returned between September 12 and October 11, 2023. They can complete the application form and pay the application fees online at www.cbse.gov.in.

The notification also states that an additional late fee of Rs 2,000 must be paid for applications submitted between October 12 and 19, 2023. For private candidates, the CBSE Board exam 2024 is likely to be held in February/March/April 2024. The board exam will be based on the syllabus, which may be seen on the official website.

What are the categories of private candidates eligible to apply for CBSE board exams in 2024? 

  • Candidates who have been declared essential must retake the exam in 2023-23.
  • Those who have been assigned to a compartment in the main examination of the board in 2023
  • Those who have been assigned to a compartment will get their first chance in August 2023.
  • Candidates that were unsuccessful in 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021, and 2022
  • Candidates who graduated in 2023 and want to reappear to improve their performance in one or more subjects
  • Candidates who graduated in the years 2022 and 2023 who want to take an additional subject
  • Female candidates who are genuine Delhi residents (they must provide proof of residency)
  • Physically challenged candidates who are Delhi residents and have reached the required age to sit for the class 10th exam (they must file a medical certificate)

CBSE Board Fees 2024

Private candidates attending five CBSE class 10th and 12th examinations must pay a registration fee of Rs 1,500. Those from Nepal will have to pay the same cost, but those from other countries will have to pay Rs 10,000. For each additional topic, Indian applicants must pay Rs 300, while Nepalese and other candidates must pay Rs 1,000 and Rs 2,000, respectively. The compartment examination fee structure is the same as for the additional courses. Candidates from India and Nepal must pay Rs 150 per subject for practical examinations, while those from other countries must pay Rs 350 per subject.
