NMC MBBS Admission 2023: The National Medical Commission has published an announcement about the MBBS admission process. According to a previous statement published by NMC colleges, the admission procedure must be completed by September 30, 2023. In its earlier letter, the NMC also stated that admissions conducted after the deadline are in breach of the notification.
The announcement was issued due to a few states medical colleges, including Maharashtra, Bihar, and West Bengal, conducting UG counselling after the deadline. According to reports, around 400 students have been assigned seats in the next round of counselling, which will take place after September 30, 2023, and such applicants would lose their seats as a result of the NMC’s latest directive.

The commission has highlighted the details of colleges and students that must be given by colleges, as well as reminding them that admissions must be done in accordance with the NMC Act and the NEET-based selection method notified under the Graduate Medical Education Regulations 2023.
