For the academic session 2019-20, CBSE has decided to include python language in computer Science Examination. The notice came before the CBSE Board Examination for 12th is to be held in the month of March 2019. The question paper for the current session will follow the same curriculum which was in 2018. The examination of CBSE class 12th Computer Science to be held on 28th March 2019.
Python is Optional for the Current Session of CBSE class 12th computer Science Examination:
Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) in a released the full notification regarding the syllabus of board examination for the academic year 2019. The candidates will be given option to attempt the question either on C++ or python language in CBSE class 12th computer Science Examination. Some Schools have been teaching Python for the academic session 2017-19, keeping sight on them CBSE has kept this language optional in the current session.
Class 12th Examination Schedule:
The class 12th board examination to be conducted by CBSE board will begin from February 15 till April 3, 2019. As per the rule of CBSE the examination will be in morning shift from 10:30 AM to 1:30 PM. For the current session, student has to mention the Section which he is going to attempt in the Computer science examination (i.e. C++ or python language). Students got much relief from this decision of Board. Now they can prepare their best section. Earlier they were in confusion that will CBSE include python along with C++ ? Now there is Clear cut answer to this question from CBSE board that ‘NO’ for current session.
