CUET 2023: Exam Date, Application Form, Eligibility, Pattern, Syllabus

CUET UG 2023 – National Testing Agency has announced the Common University Entrance Exam 2023 dates. From May 21 to May 31, the CUET 2023 will be held for admission to undergraduate and integrated postgraduate courses at the 90 participating universities. The application form for CUET 2023 will be available online in February on the official website – www.cuet.samarth.ac.in. To complete the CUET 2023 application process, candidates must register, submit the required documents, and pay the application fee.

CUET UG 2023 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must have passed Class 10+2 from a recognized board to be eligible for the CUET 2023. To learn about the eligibility requirements, all candidates must visit the official websites of their respective universities.

How to fill CUET UG 2023 Application Form?

  • Visit the official website – www.cuet.samarth.ac.in.
  • Fill up the CUET registration 2023 by entering the details.
  • Candidates will receive the login credentials on their registered email address and mobile number.
  • Now, the candidates can use the login details provided by NTA and fill the application form of CUET.
  • Upload the required documents.
  • Pay the application fee in online mode.
  • Take the printouts of the duly filled application form for future reference.

CUET UG Syllabus 2023

Section IA & IB Language to be tested through Reading Comprehension (based on different types of passages–Factual, Literary and Narrative, [Literary Aptitude and Vocabulary].
Section II Based on CBSE Class 12th exam
Section II General Knowledge, Current Affairs, General Mental Ability, Numerical Ability, Quantitative Reasoning , Logical and Analytical Reasoning

Scheme of Examination:

Section 1A – Languages There are 13 different languages. Any of these languages may be chosen. 40 questions to be
attempted out of 50 in
each language.
Section 1B Languages There are 20 Languages. Any of these languages may be chosen. 40 questions to be
attempted out of 50 in

Section 2 – Domain There are 27 Domains specific subjects being offered under this section. A candidate may
choose any subject as desired by the applicable University/ Universities.

Section 3 – General Test For any such undergraduate programme / programmes being offered by Universities where a General Test is being used for
admission.

  • From the above subjects / languages, the candidate can choose maximum of 10 subjects from
    all three Sections.
  • Examination will be conducted on multiple days in three shifts, depending on the number of
    Candidates and Subject choices

CUET UG 2023 exam pattern:

The CUET test 2023 will be held in two slots, divided into four sections. These sections are – Section 1A (language test), Section 1B (optional language test), Section 2 (domain-specific test) and Section 3 (general test).
