Get ready for the JAM 2024 exam scheduled for February 11, 2023! This computer-based exam will take place at various centers, providing a convenient testing environment for candidates. The exam comprises two sessions, with Session 1 running from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm and Session 2 from 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm, each lasting three hours.

Prepare for a comprehensive evaluation across seven test papers where you’ll tackle multiple choice questions, multiple select questions, and numerical questions. The exam is divided into three sections.

In Section A, you’ll face 30 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs), featuring 10 one-mark and 20 two-mark questions. Be cautious, as incorrect answers result in negative marking. For every wrong answer to a one-mark question, 1/3 mark is deducted, and for a two-mark question, 2/3 mark is deducted.

Moving on to Section B, which consists of 10 Multiple Select Questions (MSQs), each carrying two marks. MSQs resemble MCQs, but with a twist—there may be one or more correct choices among the four options. The good news is that there’s no negative marking or partial marking for MSQs.

Finally, in Section C, you’ll tackle 20 Numerical Answer Type (NAT) questions, including 10 one-mark and 10 two-mark questions. For NAT questions, your response should be a signed real number entered using the virtual numeric keypad. Unlike other sections, there’s no negative marking for NAT, giving you the opportunity to showcase your numerical prowess without fear of penalties.
