NEET MDS 2024 Exam Postponed – Check New Schedule

NEET MDS 2024: The National Board of Examinations in Medical Science (NBEMS) has rescheduled the NEET MDS 2024 examination date. In an official notification, it was announced that the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test for Master of Dental Surgery is now slated for March 18, 2024.

Originally planned for February 9, 2024, the exam date has been shifted. Notably, the eligibility cut-off for appearing in the exam is now March 31, 2024. In the upcoming NEET MDS 2024 examination, students will encounter questions derived from the comprehensive curriculum of the Bachelor of Dental Surgery degree, which encompasses 17 key topics. The exam itself is structured into two parts, namely Part A and Part B, featuring 100 and 140 questions, respectively. This strategic breakdown ensures a thorough evaluation of candidates’ understanding across a diverse range of subjects.

NEET MDS 2024 Eligibility Criteria

To qualify for NEET MDS 2024, candidates must fall under one of the following categories: Persons of Indian Origin (PIOs), Overseas nationals of India (OCIs), or nationals of India. Additionally, they are required to possess a BDS degree and hold a valid temporary or permanent registration certificate issued by either the State Dental Council (SDC) or the Dental Council of India.

Aspiring candidates should have successfully completed or be on track to finish a 12-month rotatory internship on or before June 30, 2024, to be eligible for consideration.
