JEE Main Exam Pattern 2020 – Paper 1

All the important details that you need to know about JEE Main Pattern 2020 for paper 1 are as follows:-

  • Duration – The exam will be of 3 hours. Mode of the examination – Paper 1 will be conducted in online mode.
  • Language – The question paper will be provided in Hindi and English language. However, candidates from Gujarat, Daman & Diu and Dadra and Nagar Haveli will receive question paper in Gujarati also.
  • Question Type– The questions will be of Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs), with a single correct response.
  • Marking– 04 marks will be awarded for every correct answer. Negative Marking– 01 marks will be deducted for marking the incorrect answer.
  • Subjects – Paper 1 consists of subjects, namely, Physics Chemistry and Mathematics.
  • Level of the question– The questions will be up to the standard of Class 11th and 12th.
  • Marks– For Paper 1 there are 90 questions for a total of 360 marks
